Your Skills
- 5+ years experience in security, networking or IT systems administration
- Experience in building, implementing and maintaining IT Infrastructure
- A strong understanding of firewall policy and networking concepts
- Good understanding of security concepts
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with change management policies and procedures
- Professional experience working with networks and network architecture is a plus
- Security related certification(s) is a plus
- Experience with VMWare NSX is a plus
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Can effectively work self-sufficiently across a geographically distributed team environment
- A results oriented, high energy individual who takes pride in their work

Your Tasks
- We are looking for an IT Security Analyst to join the expanding Security Service Delivery team within the Cyber Operations group
- The Cyber Operations team is responsible for managing and enhancing various security platforms, ensuring continuous protection and compliance across the organization.
- The IT Security Analyst will play a critical role in monitoring, managing, and securing devices and applications such as Web Filtering, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Firewall Assurance, and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection.
- This role will also involve direct participation in the ASPI project, focusing on ticket reviews within a 3-tiered cloud environment utilizing micro-segmentation.
- Operational Security Management:
- Monitor, manage, and enhance operations for security platforms, including Proxy, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, and Web Filtering.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the continuous enhancement and security of Firewall Assurance, including global process flows, approvals, and policy reviews.
- Security Process Oversight and Enhancement:
- Work within the Firewall global process flow to oversee security processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and security best practices.
- Participate in the review of existing firewall policies, providing recommendations for improvements and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Project Involvement - ASPI:
- Participate in the ASPI project, reviewing and managing tickets within a 3-tiered cloud environment.
- Utilize micro-segmentation strategies to ensure optimal security configurations and compliance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Network Security team and other departments to manage and secure network security infrastructure.
- Provide support and guidance to various teams in handling security incidents, approvals, and operational changes.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Report to the Head of Global Cyber Operations and collaborate with the Service Manager of the Network Security team to align on strategic goals.
- Document and communicate operational and security incidents to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
